Meeting notes:
Chris: Class Gift
o Goal is high level of participation and monetary participation.
o Who is in our peer group - provided list of breakdown by % class participation and average amount donated
o Starting earlier and have gained support from the Dean
o Pledges are made on the way out and paid over 3 years
o Chris would like to set up a committee of 8-10 people and have each person, personally contact 8-10 people in our class
o Pledge is done usually through catalyst survey
o Type of gift? Monetary or physical
o Potential gift survey to the 2009 class to get them thinking about it earlier
o GOAL today is getting people to sign up for the committee, open it up to rest of class to participate on the committee

Jonathon: C4C Funds Request
o Club competition - give winning clubs $50 - range of $250 -$600 (based on total # of clubs)
o 20 Hour minimum to be eligible for the prize
o Funds Request denied at this time

Evening Student - Early Graduation Party Funds Request Approved

Ashita- Pharos
o Currently cost is $440 per month with the copier
o Goal with Pharos implementation is to reduce cost or regulate costs of the print
o Options
· Husky Card - add funds for printing to each student card
§ Con - can use funds for non printing items
· Dawg Print Card - use card in lieu of cash on print items
§ Can use card for other non printing items
· Discount/Subsidize Prints - charge students $.05 instead of $.12
§ Use student id cards, cheaper cost per print
§ Can guarantee 100 pages rather than 50 pages
o Where does the money come from?
o Leaning toward option 3, but need more discussion

Jonathon: Follow Up from Previous Meeting
o Feb 1: MBAA Volunteering at B&G Club from 3-6 pm
o Leadership Positions and going abroad info letter
· If you are planning on going abroad and running for a position, should state during your candidacy statement, need to find someone to take over in your place.
o Undergrad Business Council - very impressed, faculty appreciation - they are sponsoring an amount.
· Event on Feb. 13th - would like representation from MBA students
