· Welcome and LEAD week recap - Jonathan, 5 min
o Improvements:
· Afternoon activity - maybe 4 or less
· Club sign up sheets - get those ready for the club fair in advance
· 1st-year elections - Gabrielle, 15 min
o Call for statements to go out tomorrow morning
o Deadline for statements- Thurs. Oct. 11
o Discussion Forum- Monday Oct. 15 @ 5:30 in the lounge
o Ballot - Tuesday morning Oct. 16th
o First Faculty Meeting for First Years - Thurs. Oct. 18th
· Business cards - Abi, 10 min
o Early batch will be delivered today
o Big Batch - is in to the printer and first years have proofed the cards, just need evening students.
o Still hopeful for cards prior to fall forum, if not shortly after.
· MBA staff party - Tareyn, 10 min
o MBA Staff has been working nights and weekends.
o So lets have a PARTY!!! To say Thanks!
o Catalyst survey to solicit words of thanks to download and
o Invites - MBA program office, BCC, lead week volunteers
o 60-70 people - attendance 30-40
o Not in the lounge - possibly the Waterfront TG location (waterfront activity center)
o Budget $600-800 - will take from lead week first
o Shooting for Oct. 25th
· International Student Welcome:
o $100 for extra cost for the THE wine event now partnered with GBA
o Anshu - may have Consulting Club sponsor, if not MBAA can.
· Meeting room / conference call logistics for future meetings - Jonathan, 10 min
o Future meetings - Seminar Room
o Schedule Dates for Future MBAA meetings - Nancy Ma arranged the room
· Lounge Issues-
o TV's not working, cable is broken
o Does anyone know who is paying the bills for the lounge cable???
o Back room clogged
