I had a friend who recently interviewed for internships with Clipper Windpower and GE's renewable energy leadership program. Here are a few of the questions they asked him. Nothing shocking, but I thought I would pass it along since some of you might be interviewing for similar positions:

Both interviews were mostly behavioral but some technical questions like:

• How do you view our position in the industry?
• What aspects of our current business model do you think we should adjust and why?
• What aspect of the renewable energy sector do you think we are positioned most strongly to serve?
• Why do you think that a career in renewable energy will be fitting for you?
• Where do you see the biggest problems with our supply chain?
• How can our competitors threaten us?
• What business unit do you want to work for and why?

No case questions.
