Upcoming MBAA and Club Elections (From Jonathan Shaw) This is one of many reminders about MBAA and club elections. The timeline for MBAA elections is here: http://uwmba.wetpaint.com/page/Elections%20timeline
MBAA Executive team candidacy statements are due on Sunday, January 27. Earlier that week, Gabrielle will send out an email with instructions on the candidacy statements.
You can find position descriptions for all MBAA positions, as well as names and contact information for all current officers, here: http://uwmba.wetpaint.com/page/MBAA+Position+Descriptions

Note that the Evening VP positions are brand new; thus there are no current officers for these positions

We are re-sending a list of MBAA and non-MBAA student leadership opportunities that are available for 1st year FT and PT students throughout the academic year. We want to distribute this document as it outlines positions across various interests including Academics, Student Government, Entrepreneurship, Board Member of Non-profit, and C4C. The document also briefly describes length of term and selection process.
Expanding the Wiki (From Jonathan Shaw) We've set up a new section on the MBAA wiki in which we can trade advice on interviews: http://uwmba.wetpaint.com/page/Interview+Advice Any advice you can share from interviews (internship and full-time) would be greatly appreciated. You can also post questions, and there's a discussion board area at the bottom of the page. If you'd like to get involved with adding content, please email Jonathan Shaw(shawjon@u.washington.edu) and he'll send you an invite to join the wiki as a contributor. MBA Lounge Reminder This is another reminder about the maintaining the MBA lounge. With over 450 MBA students using the lounge on a daily or weekly basis, please be sure to continue to keep the lounge a clean, clutter free environment. Look in the fridges to make sure you tossed out your fruit, yogurt, and other spoiled food from last quarter
To save some trees and cut down on paper usage, please try to print on double-sided paper. For PPT printing, please try print 2 or 3 slides per page per side. This will help save on paper, costs, and some trees.
If you have stored stuff or junk the in Cubbies holes, please to make sure you have cleaned stuff that you will not storing.
Overall, if you see bottles, loose papers, newspapers, empty pizza boxes, please to try do you part in cleaning up the lounge by recycling and throwing things in the garbage. _______________________________________
